AI isn’t yet all that it can be, but it’s a lot better than most people realize. In this latest attempt to improve our equity research by operating on a human-in-the-loop basis, here’s an initiating coverage note on Amplitude, Inc ( $AMPL ). A key step in LLMs’ output - this one was Claude - is to get them to behave like seasoned, cynical, miserable investors, not wide-eyed naiifs. This is a bit better in that regard than I have achieved previously.
