A Big Fat Nothingburger

by Alex King, CEO, Cestrian Capital Research, Inc

Today the market spent all day doing nothing except tempting bears to sell and bulls to buy before disappointing everyone. This is the kind of day where it is best to watch the market just in case something happens, whilst in fact spending your day on essential investing tasks like, oh, walking the dog, doing your expenses, maybe trying a new sandwich, that kind of thing. Or the day job if you haven’t yet been AI’d out of one. (The singularity is coming for all of us. Best to prepare, lest you become biomass for the machine).

Below our usual chronicle of the market’s inactivity. Read on, if you can keep your eyes open.

Hoomans And Machines In Imperfect Harmony

Oh, but before that - you might wish to join our free webinar on WEDNESDAY 1615 EASTERN which is all about how to use our quantitative signal services. I’ll be walking through how I myself combine my own dumb human judgment with machine logic in order to …. mess up my investing less often.

You can join for free here. We will run it on a live and open-mic basis as per all our webinars, and share the recording thereafter. This is a new world and a very compelling one. Doesn’t matter if you are a current member of our machine services, human services, or not. Come learn about the future.

OK back to the market stuff.
