There are three notable traits in CME's performance

CME’s financials exhibit three main characteristics over time.

Firstly, it enjoys a superbly high profit margin, with the EBITDA margin consistently displaying around 69-72%. This is an object of envy even to other exchange businesses. ICE, the exchange with the second highest EBITDA margin, is in the low 60%s, while others range between 30% and 50%.
